FEATURES

BARBARIAN is a glyphosate-based herbicide that acts by foliar application to control annual and perennial grasses and most broadleaf weeds. The product is translocated from the growing areas to the roots, rhizomes or stolons. Symptoms appear on the leaves, which turn red and then yellow, and are first visible on grasses, with a slower effect on dicotyledons.
It is particularly important that weeds have sufficient leaves and are actively growing at the time of treatment.

APPLICATIONS

BARBARIAN is effective for the control of annual and perennial weeds on roads, irrigation channels, firebreaks, extensive and intensive arable crops, woody crops, borders, ditch edges, crop edges and meadows.
Apply evenly to the foliage of weeds in active vegetation and without symptoms of drought, avoiding the product reaching the leaves or non-lignified parts of the crops and according to the following dosage:
Post-emergence weed control.

Apply using tractor equipment with hydraulic spraying (100-300 l/Ha. of mixture – max. dose 10 l/Ha.) and rotating disc sprayers (20-30 l/Ha. of mixture – max. dose 6 l/Ha.) or by hand by hydraulic spraying (max. dose 10 l/ha; cannot be diluted in a volume of mixture less than 325 l) and by centrifugal spraying (max. dose 3 l/ha; cannot be diluted in a volume of mixture less than 25 l).
Due to the risk of phytotoxicity, do not wet the green parts of the crops.
In olive oil mills, to facilitate harvesting, a single treatment can be carried out on the crown of the tree at a dose of 3 l/Ha. effectively treated and a PS of 7 days.
Do not carry out treatments with doses higher than 1.8 kg sa/Ha. in forest land if there are wild mushrooms in the treated area.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The recommended base dose of glyphosate for your garden is to mix 2 ml of herbicide per litre of water.

The normal dose measurement is usually done per hectare (10,000 square meters). For an area of this size, the indicated product must be mixed with 100 liters of water.

Instructions for use

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Treat with clear water, on windless days, and by direct spraying so as not to reach the leaves, recent pruning wounds (less than 2 weeks) or non-lignified parts (trunks less than 4 years old) of the crops.
Rain or irrigation within 6 to 12 hours of application may reduce the effectiveness of the herbicide.
For longer duration of perennial weed control, it is recommended to avoid tillage for at least one month before and up to one week after application.
Do not mix BARBARIAN with other non-recommended products as this may reduce the herbicide effectiveness. Avoid excessive wetting of the drip system as the product is inactivated upon contact with the soil.
In sandy crops, do not apply BARBARIAN to land where soil fumigants have been used in the same year and do not exceed 1 ml/m².
Rinse spray equipment thoroughly after application to prevent corrosion. Do not apply, mix or store BARBARIAN in galvanized or uncoated steel spray tanks or vessels.
Store the product away from frost. Do not graze treated weeds.
